Day 2 done! :)

Leaving Cornwall we had good news and not so good news; it was raining BUT we had a wonderful tail wind 💨

Everyone set off roughly the same time but in groups of 2 or 3, perfect for being nippy in and out of shops when needed.

The last of the Devon hills were complete by half way, then came Somerset and flatter roads and some sunshine at last.

Glyn was busy all day fixing Hayley’s bike while I set up some aid stations out of the minibus with water and jelly babies!

To come off your bike on day 1 then ride a strange bike for day 2 is no mean feat. Big Kudos to Hayley for coping with that set back 🙌🏻

Di rode the big hills of Devon with ease, baring in mind there are very few similar climbs where she comes from! This has earned her the spotty jersey for today 😊

Steph’s cuppa tea tally continues to rise and there were some tasty stops for cake and toasties. Well Lejog is a rolling buffet!

The star 🌟 of the show today was Glyn. Who is not a bike mechanic but managed to source, with Clare’s help, a second hand gear lever, and completely fix a very broken bike. Hero 🦸🏼

Some Mojos opted for fish and chips on the way to the accommodation to round off their day, some are heading to the local pub 🍽️ but all were back by 8:45pm. A solid days riding.

We are staying in Clevedon tonight and ready to cross a very big bridge tomorrow to Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Huge well done 👏🏽 all. We are so proud of you already.

Lou xx
