Day 6 bites the dust!

We are all safely back from day 6 and oh what a day.

All I wanted last night was a day of everyone smiling at some point today. And that was achieved. We even had a moment of tears of joy today. I’ll take that!

Some cyclists made it to the end. Some did a little less. Some have to start further back tomorrow. But each and every one of the team are happy today and enjoying the combined effort and scenery of this stunning part of the world.

Today’s valiant efforts today reminded of my favourite saying;

On days you only have 40% in you, and you give a whole 40%, you have actually given 100%

Thru Glasgow today was not nice. But what followed was totally stunning and worth every pedal stroke leading up to it.

Scotland’s BIG landscapes do not disappoint. Even when the going is tough.

Tomorrow we set off for another monster day. But we are up for it. Very few stops now as we are to so rural. But time to stop is limited with the mile we have left.
